We're honoring teachers! Welcome to our special guests Mr. Steve Koehler and Miss Samantha Palmisano
Steve Koehler is a theatre and physics teacher. For nearly thirty years, he taught these subjects at Milwaukee High School of the Arts, Wisconsin’s only arts-focused public high school. Mr. Koehler currently teaches theatre & on-camera acting at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and physics at Pathways High School, a UWM charter school. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from UW-Madison and a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from UW-Milwaukee’s Professional Theatre Training Program. (P.T.T.P.) His many acting credits include The Bridges of Madison Count with Peninsula Players; To Kill a Mockingbird with the Children’s Theatre of Madison; and as Lloyd in Guys on Ice — a role he has played over 1,000 times.
Miss Samantha Palmisano is a third degree black belt who has been training since she was nine years old. During her years helping with classes at both J.K. Lee Black Belt Academy and J.K. Lee City Youth, she discovered a love of teaching! She graduated with a degree in education from Cardinal Stritch University and is currently teaching middle school math at Milwaukee Excellence Charter School. She is also running a new City Youth program at her school.
